i want to burn a DVD i have straight onto another DVD-r. but im not sure how to do it. i try to user Nero but it just comes up with the Audio_TS and Video_TS folders. i put the files from the Whatever_TS folders onto Nero, but it then puts them on My pc instead of straight onto a disc. i will be glad to cred or rep anyone who can help me with my problem.

burn it onto your harddisk first, then burn it into DVD manually using Nero, it takes time but it works.

i dont have enough free space on my HDD lol, i only have 4 gig left and the movie is 4.6 gig. i used DVD santa to burn the disc, but i didnt set the times, so on all the movies it says "start time: 00:00:00" and then it says the end time, it took about 4 hours to burn the disc, and it wont play. it only plays the first movie on the disc then the background is just black instead of hte movie. any help?

Do not use nero, use a program called "elby clone dvd" it is the best program out there. It is also very simple to use once downloaded. Also do you have the proper dvd burner? And make sure it's legal :P dont want me getting into trouble now.

Instead of clone dvd, use dvd shrink http://www.dvdshrink.org/
But again, only for legal use (= making a backup of your OWN disc for YOURSELF)

Get rid of the crap on your computer, or you can spend some more money, buy another dvd burner, and then you can you can read from one drive, while it burns it to the other...

First off, what's the size of the DVD your burning? Is it DVD9 or DVD5? If it's a 4.7GB movie then it would be a 1=1 ratio. You would still need enough space to fit the whole movie on your HD. All the files of the movie will go to the VIDEO_TS folder. You can keep the AUDIO_TS folder empty. It's weird but yeah, you need both folders. You can also use DVDXCOPY for 1 to 1 copies. DVD shrink if you need to compress the video. Try using this software DVD decrypter. You can get it from this website DVD Decrypter. Just copy all the files. If you have problems using this software PM me. You can also go to this website. videohelp.com or doom9.org to get help. Good luck.

this is how i burn my movies:
    1. use dvd shrink to compress your dvd to a smaller file which fits onto your computer
    2. The DVD will be saved on your desktop (or other folder)
    3. Open Nero and select burn DVD video files
    4. Click Add, then Add the Video-TS folder from wherever you have the files
    5. Insert DVD disc into burner
    6. burn away onto your other DVD disc.

Go to that site above... and search around for DVD-Decrypter. Its the only program you'll ever need for doing what you want to do.

if you've got a dvd reader aswell as the burner all you got to do with nero is copy dvd and burn on 'Fly', one disk to the other. thats all I do :)
