Idk if any of you have ever experienced that, but I <3 today. So there's this gas refinery near our school, about 1/4 mile north of it. Apparently at 7am a leak sprang in the refinery. Our school's heating feeds off of that pipe. So we weren't getting any heat. On top of that, the wind was carrying the methane downstream, to our school's central ventilation. You could literally smell the gas in the halls. Everyone was joking that if someone lit a match, the whole school would go up. Probably would have. So we were evacuated at 10am and now the fire marshall and everyone is down there checking it out. Pretty sick stuff. I live 1/2 a mile away from the school, so that methane stream should be headed to me by the afternoon. :-D
Don't be outside huffing fumes to get high. Wish the plant near my school would do the same thing. I'm at school now, waiting for my next class. Would be nice if I could just go home instead. Lucky you.
Haha, the worst thing we had happen at my school was a sewer problem last year. We weren't evacuated though. You should have lit a match and ran! (Nice Battle Wins, by the way.)
Lucky lucky.. For now.. You will still have to catch up with the curriculum, unless if it's a private school..
We're afforded 3 snow days, so this will probably count as one of them. [/b][/quote] Yup, proboly will..
Yours lucky lol , well i have a 4 day weekend so its all good ( fall break ) and yes ive had a oil refinery go of and ive also seensomeone trying to pipe bomb our school lol
lucky fool, oh well its half-term for me now. Come on i can't wait till summer then i'm done with school for good
I'd propably blow up the school... Sounds good... Oh wait. It wouldn't bother me at all, I'd just go to work I let gas at work all the time Nah man, it always nice to get a day off unexpected... Go hang with some friends, play some frisbee, look at the chicks... That's life
What? No university? I thought you said you were going to go to college too. Do it while you can... taking that school vacation makes it all that much harder to get back into the routine of things.
