Unless you have 5,000 songs you should go fo the nano.

wrong, you can use any kind of song on an iPod, not just from the iTunes store... Get a 4gb nano or mini... I have a 4gb mini and its never had any problems ^_^

I got an iPod Nano last weekend 2 gigs. It's sick, nice and small. Holds 500 songs. iPod 30 gigs are way to big, hey barely fit in your pocket, and the Zen ones barely fit in your knapsack they're so huge.

If you have the money for the 30 get it. That's the full color fancy one right? Don't get the Shuffle. The Nano is good, but smaller than you might like. It's sexy though. Seriously, girls like it.

    I'm not kidding.

Zen's are a bit bigger than the ipods..I agree with that..but its not a huge difference at all, and you wont matter if you actually really care about your music because the quality is higher...

if you are someone that doesnt want to save some cash for the same thing, and want to just follow a trend, then go ahead and get an ipod.
but if your serious bout it go with Creative...iRivers are supposed to be good but havent tested them yet

my friend bought a nano and he said he didnt like it. He said it scratches easy and other stuff. IPod 30gb sounds best out of all, will get more songs.

It depends on what you are going to do with it.

Are you going to be exercise with your mp3 player?

Are you going to use it to store more than mp3's i.e. documents, photos, etc?

Are you bothered by a bulky thing in your pocket?

Answer these questions three and you will get my answer :)

4 Gig Nano IMO... I just like it because it's compact, and I won't listen to 1000 songs anyway...
