my comp is soo messed up and im gettin a new comp and i was wondering wut graphix card i should get and i cant afford the $200+ ones and if any one knos any thin about mother boards lemme kno cause idk what kind i should get
Whats your budget. For gfx card you can get a 6600GT which is sub $200. For motherboards if your on a tight budget I would say get a MSI K8N Neo4-F with a A64 3000+ 939
im lookin to pay around $1500 for a custom comp and thanx i have no idea wut any thin on a motherboard is soo ill go w/ w/e every one says
ASPIRE X-Plorer ATX Case - $55 MSI K8N Neo4/SLI - $117 AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ - $526 XFX Geforce 7800GT - $384 ePOWER Tagan TG-480-U22 Power Supply - $90.99 OCZ Performance Series 1GB (2x 512MB) Dual Channel Kit - $114.71 Total: $1,287.70 There you go that looks good. Can you use your keyboard, mouse and monitor from your old pc? Also someone else advise him on hard drives as I dont have a clue when it comes to them.
what would u think of this HD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16822148034 oh dude that PSU is awesome 40A in 12V omg <--- crazy
Harddrives i would go with a 400 gig for 250 to 300 for a nice one or for around 150 you can get a top of the line 10000 RPM 36 GIG RAID those are awesome I have a 400 GIG Western Digital and 2 15000 74 GIG RAID SATA's and o my god it is fast as hell i love it
I here ATI Radeon 9800PRO Atlantis is a good card (or just a ATI Radeon 9800PRO) around $100-$199 on newegg.com
i wouldnt, you can get a Geforce 6800 for around 175 at newegg I'd stay away from the Sapphire 9800 Atlantis as last i checked it had a 128mb memory bus compared to 256bit 9800Pro that are built by ATI. The Atlantis comes gimped out of the box. what i would do
not necessarily, the cpu you chose may have better muti tasking but in games and what not it'll still be around the same performance as the 3500. The 7800GTX also has better performance than the 7800GT. 2gb will be more useful down the road compared to the one GB of ram. And the 2 10k RPM raptors in RAID will outperform the 7200 RPM Seagate drive altho they have less storage
and of course they are loud as hell ! not to mention expensive [/b][/quote] who doesnt want there pc to sound like a jet engine they're not that bad as long as you get a case that cuts down on the vibrations
ya but when u have a processor set up for multitasking you will have less freezing and u can run more programs. what u said bout gaming is true but id go with the processor set up for multitasking because you will have less problems in the long run. and as u can see i have a multitasking processor. i would give it out but u cant buy it cuz it was specially made for T.G.I Fridays (the reastraunt)
