Alright everyone, i have just learned about the devastation Hurricane Wilma already did to the Carribean, reported that 12 people are already dead. Which is not good, because it is above water level, when you think about katrina killing 1000s, and this only 12, there is a difference. New Orleans is basically under water, the whole city. Hurricane Wilma is the biggest and most intence hurricane ever, on record, in the Atlantic. What will happen this weekend, probably in Florida, could be terrible. People have been evacuating for days already. I wish the best to all of the people where the hurricane will hit, and have already hit. Good Luck, and stay alive.

Keep in tune with the hurricane at:
    www.weather.com

    Learn about it from:
    Comcast Hurricane Warning

Half of my family lives in Florida. My dad is scheduled to go to Florida tomorow to bring my grandparents there, they live there for 6 months, and here in Chicago for 6 months.

    Good Luck everyone.

That's sad, you would rather have people get hurt where you live, and miss school, then go.

omg. so many things happening to the US. T__T
Just two days ago, Southern Cali had heavy rainfall along with massive thunder and lighting and to top it off, 2 4.0-ish earthquakes within a 12 hour period. T__T

Im in florida =) lol, its gonna be like a cat 3 when it hits florida tho.....probly, so I hope i can stay okay.

And if the tectonic plates move in cali - which can be started by earthquakes, all of cali and some of the US will be destoyed, i mean completely engulfed by mother nature.

Well the thing that sucks for me is that im going to florida on holiday in a fortnight. We are also going for a wedding in West Palm Beach so im hoping the place where the wedding is gonna be will be safe to. But i hope every1 else in florida will be ok. There wont be as much Devastation as New Orleans cause Florida are used to it and will know how to hopefully cope with it

As of 12pm EST, Hurricane Wilma, the 21st named storm of 2005, tying a record for the most named storms since 1933, became a Category 5 storm. For those of you who don't know, the lower the pressure in the storm, the stronger the storm is. Hurrican Wilma's minimum central pressure at noon today was 882mb, the Lowest pressure EVER recorded in the Atlantic Ocean.

This storm is huge and strong. Yeh it sounds pretty insane to me
