Free Music Downloading

Just wondering, do you guys think Downloading Music for free of the internet is a big deal?

here is my opinion, please dont spam or flame, and respect my opinion

I think that burning CD's isnt a big deal, the artists are ----ing loaded anyway, it really wont effect they're sales much, maybe in the long run, but they have enough money anyway, they dont even work hard compared to average workers who get low pay. All they do is sing, i know it takes talent, but if you have the talent, its not hard. Plus, they make money in other ways than their music, they do commericals, guest star in shows, and are in movies, so they are basicly set for life.

 

I totally agree with you. It's easier, faster, and you don't pay

 

if band/group sales don't get high their recording companies may drop them and thats it, no more music, so i always buy the albums.

 

Yeah that's the only downside really. I only buy the albums because of that and i want the actual cd cover.

 

well if the band is that unkown that they wont get many sales, there probably isnt many songs of theirs on downloading sites/programs

 

i do it, but i think its a big deal because it makes your favourite artists lose money, and downloading movies is worse. but anyway, yea its a pretty big deal if you think into it. but that dont stop me

Downloading music free is senseble. A lot of people will download music, like it a lot then by the CD because they like it alot. To me CD's are declining and people will not pay for music for ipod ect... So sales are going to go done. Mainly because of the change in technology.

 

So you're saying that there will be no music in the future, logically it's what you just said...CD's are always going to sell, I download them all the time, if it's an amazing CD then I always go out and buy it, but it's just not worth the money to buy a CD that you don't completely like, especially on an average man's salary...

 

welll there are different ways this can be approched. Most of the artists are so rich, downloading some songs for free i don't even think they would even hurt them. Some of the artists just rip other artists like the beats....


Also, If i would make a song and every started to just rip it off i would be pissed and be making a big deal out of it. But These guys are filthy rich.

exactly, if i download a couple of the songs and i really love them, ill go buy the CD but if its a band i dont really like and i just want a few songs, ill download them.

 

I've seen people get caught becuase they go on MSN and transfer like 60 songs that are brand new over the web

 

There are new upstart programs that are starting to give access to free songs....im psyched..i hate paying a buck for songs
