im not sure if this goes in computing or games as its a bit of both but anyway. i just found from the making of halo 2 movie, that when microsoft created halo, they used Linux OS. i just thought this was funny because of ol' bill thinking hes OS is so great, he dont even use it. this might be old news but i only just found out about it. your views?

90% of games are made on Linux, then converted into Windows. Old news, I knew they were made on Linux before they were ported to Windows

This brings up the question as to why there aren't more games for linux then, it shouldn't even cost too much to make an extra port for the game.

    Thanks...

The reason why they don't often make Linux games, alough they construct it on Linux, is because the general public does not use linux, and they are afraid to lose their copyright, since they are using a open-source OS, and their code could easily be tampered with. In windows, nothing much is open source, thats how they get their money...
