I'm wondering, is there anyone else who can help her stop? Your solitary effort seems weak. If most of her family supported you she would feel a greater notion to stop smoking.

Have you tried buying her things like nicoderm? Also, before you try anything, make sure she agrees that she wants to quit. You can't force someone, only help them.

Well, try and get her to do something else, like instead of Tobacco (Spelling) try getting her to chew gum. I hope that helps ^_^

Well, old habits are hard to put down, just support her and tell her how you feel over all this, if she really is a saint or a mom, she'd understand the pain you've been through and will eventually quit smoking. So, I'd say just help her quit smoking.
