I'm sure, infact I know the staff work hard, I credit them for that. And I think you and Llama are some of the best admins I've ever come across. I think 85% of staff are genuinly nice, helpful and caring people, but some *not to mention any names* just ruin your honorable staff IMO. I understand what you are saying about trying to please the majority of members, but does that mean that a good few have to suffer with it? And probably end up leaving, and to be honest the ones who leave are usually the better quality of people. The people who like to sell credits are usually flaming noobs. Is it all just numbers? GR should have a reputation of giving every member equal opportunities and privileges - I don't think this happens now. Yeah sure, you can keep the credits, but just ban the selling of them, not loads of members would leave, and the whole issue never used to happen, we still had thousands of happy members then.

Stasus - I agree with most of what you're saying, very wise is most of it. The only thing I do not agree with is what you said about popular members, I have witnessed flaming members, some of the popular ones do this, and the reason most of them are popular (the ones I'm talking about) is because they have a big force of friends here to back them up. Renderers, tutorial writes, etc deserve popularity and I completely agree that some popular members spend time and that's why they are popular, but I'm talking about some greedy, selfish members ... who I could name, but I won't.

Thanks to those who support me, hopefully the income of messages of support will be evidence of how corrupted GR is becoming, and what I am trying to explain.

I'm not taking any sides, but I'll agree with one thing.

Some members get away with stuff. I've seen countless "popular" members flaming noobs. Yet NEVER see anything done about it, thats the main thing I don't like.

How a "popular" member can flame newbies just cause theyre new to designing and nothing happens about it...

Credits? Well I ain't going there. Most of my work has been given for free. I've only sold 1 thing here out of around 100.

I'm going to use the Report Feature more often when I see members flamming and spamming. And I hope something is done about it :)

    Thats my 1 Cred, I mean 1 Cent ;) :P

    ooh i love u
seriously The Gamerenders-community has taken a serious downfall lately and i'm not blaming staff this time. I already posted a topic about it but i think it's better if i post it here again then to bump up old topics.
It's about the members, some of them (not saying names) just think they're the best and that they can get away with everything so they act like it, flaming noobs or even other 'wellknown' members. People don't even want to help anymore. Sure, they want to help if there's creds and reps are involved. This Gamerenders-community used to be all about helping others. people still had fun making sigs but now most people just want to be 'proffesional' (whatever that is) and they don't care about other people anymore.
    i think it's a shame..

I think creds spice up the forum :D I mean it is more fun whith creds then to have a forum without creds... cuz when it is free you cant have any demand on the quality but if it cost you can be sure the stuff you buy is of high standard :D

    BTW

ludjer you have a kickass sig :D

    Just an Idea.

Reset the rep and cred system. It'll null everything, people will become more humble.

It's called political privileges...anyway, I agree with what Flamesy has said in regards to the "corruption". I may be new, but I lurk and see these things happen, although I would prefer not to make waves. Call me a coward, but I require this site as a means to reach a higher plateau of skill. Can't do that if no one likes me.

Though, I see nothing wrong with how credits are handled here.

It's not necessarily the credits existence that causes the problems. It's the people who abuse them.
