Well it's about time my pc gets upgraded.

This is what i had in mind of buying:
    Mobo:
    GigaByte K8NSC-939 (Retail, sound, Gb-LAN, RAID) € 79,-

    Processor:
    Athlon64 3200+ (2.0 GHz) € 139,-

Memory: (on top of my 512MB Ram)
    Kingston DIMM 512 MB (Retail, SD133-X64-C3) € 89,-

    Power supply:
    Q-Tec 13263 Low Noise (Retail) € 22,-

    Graph Card:
    Asus V9999/TD (Retail, DVI, TV-Out) (6800) € 129,-

Now my question is will this setup last me for another 2 years?

    Thanks.

everything looks fine except the graphix card. I dont know anything about that and neither the psu. I would imagine that you'd probably need a better psu with all the new dvd technology coming out. But thats just my 2 cents

If you get that 6800 vanila try and unlock the pipes to a GT.
The psu is cheap and tacky at least get a cheap branded one. For example a Thermaltake TR2 430Watts. its cheap and is silent.

Go for a branded PSU like the reputable companies eg Antec, ThermalTake,Enermax etc These are amazing companies not only for PSus but their cooling stuff eg Thermaltake :D

I got a Antec Dual Fan Silent 550W PSu and its amazing :D for about i think £50-60

wow. currently they are the best processors and intel is lagging behind. maybe in the K6 series they were poor but since the thunderbird range they have been on top.
