I must be the only one on the face of the planet that thinks the iPod is ugly :unsure:
I personally hate ipods. I in fact have a little avvy that i need to upload sayin so. But wait bout a year or two. Then something thats even greater will be realeased. Thats all i can say.
The iPod wasn't that bad of an idea when it came out, a sleek, mp3 player, that has a pretty reliable background - Apple. But what it has evolved into is insane. first off, its $299, that right there is a bit on the expensive side. Second, it has white plastic on the front. Now, i don't know about you, but if i am going to spend $299 on an mp3 player, i don't want it to look cheapy. However, once we talk about the iPod nano, then it just becomes worse. It may be "small" and "cool" but if you have something that small that costs that much, you better guard it like a rosetta stone. Third, why do people buy it? is it really because they want an iPod as an mp3 player, or are they just following the crowd? This whole "i-something" talk is also something i don't get. Why must you put "I" next to every word and put an iPod on every picture? This whole thing seems like some kind of marketing ploy to make you buy into a product that really isn't that special, but since everyone has one, why don't you? As for the iPod with video, good for them. But why would you watch a TV show on that little screen? I don't how much you can take away from a show and still see it, but this is definetly beyond the line.
Well, actually let me generalize what I think. I dont like mac. But wait for it....Which is why I dont like iPod. See, I am on topic. I mean yeah, mac has something here. its gonna make em a fortune. Im just sad because I cant convince everybody to buy something different. I mean, seriosuly, when can u listen to around 16 hours of music when the battery life is 13? And the screens are scratched so easily. And, the 20/40gb are huge. It would almost be better for me to take a 72gb raptor hd with a battery and some usb connectors together. It wouldt be that much larger. Ans yes they are ugly. The look nothing like what my perception of a"pod" would be Theres my piece. Nothing against mac/iPod lovers.
actually Ipods are known for their slick "sleek" style by Ipod lovers. That is one of the major reasons people buy them. And the "i" next to everything is very good marketing on their part.
The new ipods that are able to Play videos now come in black like the nano and they are more slim than the original 20 Gb ones.
Yea I dont really get the video part anyway but I am sure they will have plenty of sales none-the-less. They make a wide range of products for different people. You obviously don't like the idea but others would think it is awesome that they can watch little videos on their iPod if they don't want to listen to music at the moment. Those peoplle will buy the product, so you don't need to put it down just because you don't like the idea.

[/b][/quote] Lol, UV your cool but your blinded by your own iPod fanboy fantasy's. I stand by what I said when I said that even the PSP is better than an iPod for playing music/movies/pictures/games. Yes, the iPod has games, obviously the PSP was made for gaming but even so, it can do everything the iPod can... only better :blink:
Im lucky that my Ipod only plays music I saw the new Ipod too and the screen looked way too small to look any movies...
