    should be ok, if they are both pci, but I'd rather go with AGP/PCI-E if you have it on your mobo...

    I dont think that there is PCI-E on his comp I have a Dell 4550 and mine has PCI, I dont believe it has AGP.

    It should work out fine.

    His pc only supports pci video cards and that is your best option so I would say get that and you'll be right.

    Um, if my pc has DDR SDRAM , does that mean it's compatible with both?

    Oh, and anyone know any cheap, but good ones I could get?

    Dell=proprietory, you should be completely screwed if I know anything. If not then atleast horribly limited.


    All that means is that it is compattable with ram that has to be both, not either or. Don't worry though, ALL ddr ram is synchnoized data rate ram, even if it isn't stated, it just is left off frequently because it is redundant.

    DDR sdRAM= DDR RAM
