this is a very old tut by me...

ok i will be teaching you how to use the "Curves" affect, which makes plain signatures come to life.

first make a new document, any size, white background, and fill it will some cloud grunge brushes. With the foreground color set as black.

GOOD BRUSH SORCE has good brushes.just go to search art, and go to resources>Photoshop Brushes.

after you have added brushes you should get somehting like this.

next go to Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Color Balance. click ok then...

use these settings. (IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE PRESERVE LUMINOSITY)

    Midtones: Cyan Color Level: +55
    Yellow Color Level: -50
    Magenta Color Level: 0

    Highlights: Cyan Color Level: +50
    Yellow COlor Level: -40
    Magenta Color Level: 0

    Shadows: Cyan Color Level: +56
    Yellow Color Level: -50
    Magenta Color Level: 0

Now you should have something similar to this:

Next Go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Curves.
Do Something Like This.(You Can Also Play Around With It)

Now You Should Have Something Like This:

Then just add a render, text, border, and you got yourself a sig!!!

    Here is my outcome.

    Good Luck!!!
