I am so excited because Google has hired lead GAIM Developer Sean Egan. GAIM is an all in one IM Client, meaning you can chat to all IM Clients, it allows this while using minimal system resources. Sean Egan was hired to work on the Google Talk client, and you can probobly imagine this might mean great things for us who want Google Talk to have more features. Speculate and comment on your thoughts.

I love how google works, they always hire the best of the best in their respected fields and if someone else already has him/her, they get him/her anyways i.e. the former Microsoft CEO.

I wouldn't be surprised if I end up working in Google's medical division in 10 years.

Well, I don't think it'll take over AIM. Way too many non-tech savvy people use it and are comfortable with it then to switch.

I hope Google gives everyone a perfectly working spelling/grammar checker with only real words and no slang and makes it automatically fix the text in textboxes :D

I am absolutely kicking myself that I didn't buy stock in this company when I had the chance.

Google is growing and improving by leaps and bounds. Hiring Egan can only mean grater things from this company.
