Best Computer Music Player (like Winamp)

    Whats the best mp3 player for the computer with internet radio besides winamp? Preferable lighter than winamp...

    hmm not sure if anything can beat winamp, isnt there winamp lite? or maybe try and older version of winamp?

    I would guess that it is the best overall. Although i just use WMP10. I dont like or need winamp, just extra features i dont use :)

    its not that i need the system resources that it uses, i was just looking if theyre's a better one? I heard about Foobar? is that any good?

    well if your just looking for the best features, then winamp is waht you need

    WinAmp lite with classic skin = fine.


    I'd suggest you try Musicmatch Jukebox since on their radios you can skip songs and stuff, just not advertisements, but Musicmatch is somewhat of a memory hog...

    thanks, ill just stick to winamp. plus, i got a perfect skin that matches my blackbox theme perfectly.

    is winamp even supported anymore? i thought they gave up on it :<

    i always found itunes good for radio, even if it is nuthing but a pain in the ass with anything else.

    nope, its still going strong. they even made a new version about 2 months ago...

    foobars not bad it doesn't look as nice
    but it uses a LOT less system rescources unlike winamp which is really heavy
    its a good player just doesn't look cool

    winamp is the best media player bar none. there really is nothing that compares to it. itunes is way too clumsy to be a competitor. winamp uses hardly any system resources, loads fast, and has thousands of streamlined plugins

    I just use wmp10 its built into windows and it suits my needs. I see no need for 3rd party software in this department.

    then you don't care about your music. winamp overshadows wmp in every single category there is, except for ripping and burning.
