    ok i have a budget of $225

    wich graphixs card would be best for a
    dell dimension 3000
    512mb ram
    80gig hd

    i wasnt to get one so i can play half life 2 and counter strike source



    please help me

    i have 3 pci slots in my computer if thats were the graphic cards go

    the best PCI cards out atm are the ones i posted, you're not going to get a very good graphics card on PCI anymore. It has generally been phased out in favour of AGP (now being phased out) for PCI-Express.

    if u got a pci-e slot free (which i guess you dont :\) then get a 6600GT
    great card, great price

    The best gfx cards you can get are old and outdated. you have really no upgradablity because you bought a dell. Best options are a 5700 or a 9200.

    if you wanna be a gamer, get a whole new pc because u cant really upgrade dells
