what other processes are you using, i wonder...

flip over to the Proceeses tab and see what is taking up all the CPU resources.

    Post that up here..

what are the specs on your pc. It shows 54 processors running. If your pc is running 2ghz or less then cu it down to 40 processes. Click the processes tab and tell us which programs are using a lot of ram and also look to see if a progra. eg. ps is using a lot of cpu usage.

If you have CS2 running that could be why because it is a ram and processor hog.

I'd go more for the CPU than the ram. He's using about half his ram, which is fine. His CPU is the problem here.

hmm i heard adaware and spyware create virus if they are on the same comp because they clash so maybe try deleting one of those programs :)

yea, i think something was just lingering around and restarting killed it, lol. Your cpu looks much happier now... Something was just running in a loop or something and couldnt get off your cpu.

Try getting Avast Antivirus, Search & Destroy, and Microsoft Spyware.

Then that should fix all the spy/adware and viruses.

i see in the second screen that you still have unneeded processes running, get WinPatrol and use it to control your start up programs.

go to msconfig and remove unneeded programs from the boot list. That will minimise cpu load. also as you pc has speed up since the reboot, maybe turn off at night and boot up in the morning. saves power and it will increase the life of your pc.

its interesting you have a process named spysub.exe.....

defintley dl adaware and spybot, update, and do a full system scan. After than get avast antivir and do a boot scan. Afer all that, you should notice a huge speed increase.

and btw, that process i said above could take around an hour mattering on ur hd size
