Well many people here use FireFox and love their speedup. Now that Opera is free, i have seen a lot more people here using it. So i decided to post how to speed it up. I use this and yes it works. I saw a very big difference on this PC. Open your opera6.ini file. It will be in your Profile folder.(see Help > About Opera for its location). Once open follow the small list below on how to speed it up. Close Opera Open the opera6.ini file in a text editor Under the [User prefs] section, find the line that looks like First Update Delay=N where N denotes redraw time in milliseconds Change N to the desired value (e.g. 200) Save and close the file Start Opera Hope that helps out some of you. Enjoy
Righty, I'll try this, but theyre is a way to reverse the effects yes? Coz I've got Opera set up jst the way i like
no, not for me, it does speed up the page load time. I had to add that seperate code in, but it works
