how do i make the link i post tell me how many people have downloaded it?

 

Do you mean on your website or what?? Anyways, it counts the numbers of downloads here if you attach it. But if you just post a link it won't do it.

I don't know, if I attached a file here like .zip or something it would say how many times it has been downloaded...

Example:

 

That is either a PHP or CGI script that counts how many times a file has been downloaded.
