In my opinion, most "metal" nowadays sucks. The only good metal is the old stuff.

Most overrated hardcore/metal band would have to be (in my honest opinion) either Mudvayne or Otep. They both irritate the ever-loving s*** out of me.

Just to add, more people need to listen to bands like Meshuggah or Psyopus.

Honestly more people need to listen to classic rock and get out of this bull---- "metal" phase.

BTW; Otep isn't that bad for having a female lead singer...

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the old stuff, but I've been playing guitar for 20+ years, and the newer stuff impresses me, and challenges my skills as a player more than the old standards.

..........Although 'Led Zep IV' has been in my CD player for about ten years. ^_^

I would have to say Rob Zombie... he's very rude putz.

Dont' get me wrong... before his brother and Sean left the band... when it was White Zombie... they were good.

But, Rob by himself... please.

now if any ofyou have learned any thing its that Death Metal/Black Metal Depends On Vocals and guitar riffs not lyrics and actually someof those death metal badn would actually be considered Grindcore but im not getting too specific [/b][/quote]
what he said. and i noticed you put cradle under death metal. they are actually a goth/balck metal/ pervert metal lol. \m/

**Edit** oh i just saw that Black Metal: right above cradle lol my bad. and you forgot to put some grindcore in there =P Cryptopsy > all
AND I DONT SEE ANY DIMMU?!?!!? WTF M8 lol. and black/death metal alos differs from the drums
