I'll just tell you what to do. Open a new document with a transparent background make it 3 by 3 pixels. Zoom in as much as you can, take out the pencil tool and (there should be 9 boxes) fill in the top left box, the middle box in the middle row and the last box in the last rowe (The one all the way on the right.) Then go to Edit --> Define Pattern and type Diagnoal Scanlines or whatever.

I'll take a pic if you want me to.

    +Rep/Creds Appreciated ;)

Okay I'll post a pic in a few moments. Forgot to mention it needs to be a TRANSPARENT background. My bad.

    first save the pattern,
    go to edit>define pattern
    and save the pattern

then jsut make a new layer in your sig, and fill it with white.
then go to blending options, and choose pattern overlay.
then choose the pattern you made
