OMG have you guys not read the post by the ONLY GUY IN THIS THREAD THAT OWNS ONE? Come on, you guys can't back ---- up without your proof.

First off the iRiver comparison was obviously unfair and biased. Slim lightweight design? Wtf? Then you get mad at the iPod not recognized windows psd when iRiver can only recognize JPEG! Idiot.

And half the nano is made out of metal, its not some flimsy plastic. sure its fragile, but no more or else than any other piece of electronic equipment.

You guys come off as a bunch of friggen idiots. Both me and my friend (I have 2gb, he has 4gb) have had the Nano since it came out with no problems. iTunes comes with AAC stuff, so you don't need to worry about that.

go ask any sales person at an electronic store that sells both ipods and irivers. They would recommend the iriver every time over the ipod. Same cost but better features and less bugs with the iriver, aswell as better sound quality and space.

I'm not saying iRiver doesn't have its advantages, but you guys were making it to look like the iPod fell apart when you took it out of the shiney package, and was totally dwarfed by iRiver's awesomeness. That's totally wrong.

Look to me everyone is different and therefore have different tastes, i mean some like apple computers, others like PC computers. Some like linux, some like windows, some like ipods, some like iriver..

Theres no reason to go into a war about it. As for the Nano i won't be getting it i like my MD disk player.

I've had no problems with the IPod Mini, but the IPod Nano when I tested it froze on me. The Apple salesmen told me the Nano sucks.
