You know from every book you read its different from the game or movie like harry potter one the book, movie and game are different.

Same for alot of books and stuff, why cant they just keep it = or something cause then you dont know which one to trust better.

imagine if they put the 800 page harry potter into a movie without leaving anything out
the movie would be about 5 hours long, and no one would go see it

I like watching movies much more than reading therefore i only know 1 side of the arguement, BUT... I really do like the films they create so i can only imagine the books could create something greater in your own mind as you only got the directors idea's on film.

If you don't like it then don't go see the movies, it's not that freaking hard.

There are just too many details in the book, too many subtlies to show in a movie. It's really hard to really develop the story in depth, in a 2-3 hour time frame. They have to keep the movie exciting by overexaterating some points while surpressing others. Movies are never better than the books, when you watch a movie its acts as the middleman, so somethings are lost in translation. It all comes down to preference, books or movies.

try watching the 10 comandments then you'll see why directors cut down storylines and don't create 4 hour long movies.
