Prob With Msn 7.5

ok well i just dled it... and now wen i send someone a smily like a ... i dont see it on my lil screen.. and its bothering me... anyone know on i can fix this....

 

Look through the help and troubleshooting guides on msn and messenger.msn.com. Maybe it was an incomplete install and it didnt install the smilies on your end.

 

nope it dont say anything about it.... i tyred re installing it and still same prob

 

well are smiley's a real big deal well you could get the old version like 7.0 or somthing or you can get one of these http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=msnm

I had a similar problem on my Mac with an older version where I couldn't copy paste stuff in MSN at all. I think, if you want to reinstall it, then you should make sure that there aren't any files that are in system folders.

 

the old versino thing did not work... o well

 

try uninstalling then goin to my computer local disk drive, program files, then delete the msn messenger folder

 

Cheak if Show Emoctions is checked(Tool>Options>Messages)

 

well msn 7.5 is been pissing me off alot id say get 7.0
