i jus got a new hd and installed it and everything, my old one died, and so now i installed all drivers and internet is back up, one problem though, I can't install the "ETHERNET CONTROLLER" driver, it says it cant be found, wat cd would this be on? i connected my wireless internet, but i haf a direct cable to my router, and it doesnt show up... y? thnx
that's you NIC (Network Interface Card) Is it onboard or a card you put into your PCI port? If it's onboard, you should have a disk that has all the drivers on it that came with your pc. Or you can got to the manufacturer of your computer (Dell, HP, etc.) If it's not onboard, take it out and look at what company its made by, and the version type. go to driverguide.com, user: drivers pass: all. search for a driver. That should help...
well i haf a linksys thing, and my com is dell. which driver would be for the ethernet controller? i haf a dimenson 4550, and also i tink my internet is gay cuz of roadrunner
