3D MAX is probably one of the more powerful ones you'll find. It's one heckava jungle to get through though, so mind that.

C4D just seems to be so much user friend;y IMO. If you want soemthing that's equal in power and conveniecne, I suggest you use that.

Not that kind of render, genius.

I used C4D for a bit, I really liked it, I'd suggest using that :P

yes, of course you do, cuz ps is a great 3d tool...yea...........

anyways...here is how i would rate them
    Easiest to use:
    1. Bryce
    2. C4D
    3. Maya
    4. 3DS

    Most Powerful
    1. 3DS/Maya
    2. C4D
    3.Bryce

i would recommend c4d highly, then if you feel you need to get better software get maya
3ds is frickin hard to understand, and bryce is simple, but too simple

c4d is good, cuz theres lots of tuts for it, its very simple to use, and it is very good
maya, id say is good as 3ds, but its easier to use...maya's animation is about a simple's as c4d's animation

maya is the best in terms of power and sheer ability. It is also the most expensive at 7000US$ abd the hardest to learn.

you never saw maya then... 3dsmax makes maya look like a myriad. Trust me on that, many movies and games were made in maya, including shrek.

i have them all and i would say

    to start learning use bryce

    then try c4d next

    then 3ds max

and after a yr of practicing use maya

    the best is opinion

bryce is limited and so is c4d

3ds max and maya are harder to learn but have alot more capabilitys

so go with c4d its got an easy learning curve and its got more content than bryce.

Maya is the best it will be used for ps3 and xbox 360 games. It is also the hardest to learn as I have a copy but it uses alot of system resources.
