I do have speakers around it. There are six speakers around my monitor, and I have 1 base on the floor, with 4 speakers on every corner of my room.

Are you suggesting the frequency from the speakers might emit some sort of distortion to the monitor?

The magnets in the speakers can sometimes throw it off. Did that with our TV a while back

But that kinda just causes a weird blurring, color change, and warping, not a straight line

Try degausing [ however you spell it ] Go through your MONITOR options [ There's a button on your monitor, click that, find it in there normally ]

    That may help

I degaussed it and well the line is still there but i can say the opacity of it decreased from 100% to 60% so its a little bearible now.

    yay for you... spammer :P

Speed- did you try restarting? i have the same thing. it always happens when i use my FTP program, and open up the bandwith meter. i have to restart the comp to get rid of it. so, if it hasn't been restarted, i would try that.

Might be some dead pixels, I hate when that happens. I don't know how to fix it if it is.

These guys talking about speakers being the problem are wrong. He said its an LCD monitor.... that only happens to regular monitors. Ive had my LCD monitor for about 3-4 years now, with speakers butted up right next to it with no problem like this. My assumption is that the monitor is nearing its "cut off" date and you will be in need of a new one.
