people at cgtalk are still patient and i see people asking the same question three times these days. But i think it's also an age problem, most people here are only 14 year olds that think gfx is the only fun thing in the world (not flaming anyone i really do think a low age affects how you are no worries you'll grow hair there someday )
I think they'll have more time over there due to the nature of there work. It's a hella of a lot harder to do 3D artwork than a wee sig in photoshop, I also believe that there will be a ---- load more tuts and resources out there for ps, than 3DS, Lightwave etc So they'd be more helpful because it's harder to start out on something like 3D artwork than sigs.
Meh, overall I'm not really liking how GR is now, when I was first here the concept of buying credits for money was ludicrous, but now it's commonplace, also, people going and selling their accounts was never thought of. Well, with the comments on sigs, I try my best to try and help when I post in thread's where I know the person is new, and when I make a tut, I always post the link to the brushes that I used (...despite the fact that I only made two so far :lol
Man i totally agree...Now i wouldnt consider myself a noob, but I always am aspiring to be a good designer, and I ask people things like: what do you think of my work? How can i improve? etc, etc, etc. I have only gotten one person that has offered to help me out, the rest simply reject me and say no. It gets on my nerves.
believe, there's probably more tuts out there for that kind of stuff than for sigs ^_^ oh and i'm not only talking about gamerenders but about the entire sigcommunity
yeah i feel the same way i dont really care about creds and rep but when i do get them i appreciate it but sometimes ther are things i just need to know and i always get bitched out cause for some reason i should no it already ive been using PS7 for two years so i pretty much no what im doing and i hate people saying i dont and then ahaving to make stuff to prove it and so on but i deal with it i just make stuff that i like not what other people like i think thats whta most people forget
i think the hate comes from the ignorance built up at this site. creds for money? wtf is that accounts for money wtf dat dosent make u any better. and the greed of u nubs is incredible. wen i joined gr it was a nice community were every1 helped each other for no price. now 700 creds for a lesson from some1 who only knows to copy+paste and gaussian blur on overlay -.-
