Install Linux On An Xbox

    So what are the benefits of putting Linux (or any other OS) on an Xbox?

    Benifits would be anything from running your fan at Top Speed to playing games or emulators off your hard drive.

    Thanks for that I was thinking of modding my xbox, putting linux on will probably be good enough.

    just paged through it... i might try it w/o getting a mod chip (i have old xbox... still wonder if i can do it

    Im going to try to do that (put linux on xbox) pretty soon I hope mostly just for fun.
