I like creative best.. havent used Irivers tho.. Ipods are way overrated..and their recent new prouct, the Nano, shows how much they really work on things before releasing them and how much they crave money.. and btw, who cares about what it looks like..u want quality of the mp3 player not style..although yea style is good its not something u should really look for

i dont really care about features as long as it can hold tons of songs.. though id prob go ipod because of its rep
i know this isnt one of the choices, but i lke Creative. i have heard many bad things about Ipods (im not saying anyting about macs, they are cool). I have read reviews from actuall people who have a Zen Micro (5gb). With it's removable rechargable battery, and 1gb more for $100 less, I will stick with Creative. I have a small 256 crative for a year now, not one problem.
iRiver "allows" you to play videos and videos take up more space ^_^ I'd choose iRiver but to bad they stopped the manufacture of the H3xx so I'd say check out creative.
I would go with Creative also. After all, they are the 1337zors sound card makers. But if you ignore what we say about Creative and rather stick with either iRiver or iPod then go with iPod. Everyone uses them so be with them and not go for the ugly looking iRiver. Creative > iPod > iRiver
Why do people think iRiver is ugly? I like the way it looks much more than the iPod but than it's been like 5 years or something without Apple changing much of anything so I guess I would be bored the Apple's design. I think the Toshiba Gibabeat is the best looking HDD player but too bad it sux.
... but it is a waste of money ... what is this cool crap you get with it hmm? a hole in your pocket to start with. $200 for 4GB when you can get a $220 Creative for 20GB
