I just realized most of my filters are gone.. disabled, is it cause it wasn't installed properly? Cause I can't filter any clouds and now I have to do black bg white brush black brush white, etc.
Well I believe all the filters are stored in a particular subdirectory within the Photoshop CS2 folder. If they're gone, I recommend backing up any CS2 stuff and reinstalling.
are u working in the right colour mode? some coulour modes wont allow u to use filters. go to image - mode, and set to rgb. or just do this when u create a new doc. maybe u have overlooked this
^reinstalling is not the only solution to everything. Maybe check the folder they are supposed to be in (unsure where that is) if they arent there give me a buzz and I'll zip mine up and you can copy them in.
not a big deal it happened to me once just reinstall it if you have some trouble with that aim me at s3 melonhead112
First check you are in the right color mode which someone else stated. Also, CS2 deletes the cache of the presets, filters/brushing if it is closed improperly a couple of times. The brushes are stored in a directory that i have no clue where. I tried the presets folder but only my defaults are there, not my custom ones.
Thanks problem solved, but I still don't get? Isn't higher better? I set mine all the way up to 32...
