i have a dell 3000 and i am wonder wuts the best gfx card for it i am willin to spend up to 300 for it wich is the best
If it were me, I would get PCI-E at least 128, but if you don't have PCI-E, I'd go with AGP 128mb made by NVidia (sp?)
hmm r u sure u want to upgrade it cuz some are expensive, unless u play alot of games then ur better off spending more money in my opinion
Tbh I think £300 is enough for a quality gfx card, i'm no good with names, but I'll try find some decent ones within your price range
ok wich would be best a least expensize to play the counhter strike games thats the main game i wanna play
if ur on about 1.6 get a 64mb lol but if ur on about CS:S maybe a ATi Radeon 9800XT or summat simlair
if you don't plan on getting SLI, ATi may be a better choice at times. check the 9800 and also try the 6800 from Nvidia
well firstly u got a dell. no offence to dell owners but they are the worst of the worst systems for demanding applications like gaming. second u betta check if motherbord even has an agp slot. some dells have them taken out so its cheaper. agp slot is red/brown above pci (white) slots. i know for sure that dells dont do pci-exp.
If this is your system http://compreviews.about.com/od/budgetdesk...lDimens3000.htm then you can only get a pci graphic card so ur option are limited. Either a Ati 9200-9250 or Nvidia 5200-5700LE which arent going to do u good in the long run but are better then ur currrent onboard video. I would recommend you to save up your money for a new computer.
this is a new computer and i have a intell extreme graphics 2 card and its runnin condition zero vert good
