well..i play varsity hockey, so i have to work out 4 hours every day after school, including running miles and ----. my best suggestion is to eat a lot and work out
I would for get about getting in shape fast, before you begin you should realize, depending on how overweight you are, it may take longer than a few months to get your desirable results. It is a lifestyle change. The most important thing is your diet. Eat small portions, real portions are actually quite small, so get educated on eating correctly. Spread your meals out over six meals a day. Start hitting the gym three days a week for an hour, anymore than that you will probobly get discouraged quickly. After you become adjusted to your new lifestyle, start working out 4-5 days a week and start introducting more protein into your diet, it can be in the form of protein powder, protein pill, whatever method you choose. If you don't know how to workout, browse around the net and read some books get educated, more importantly get a friend to go workout with you, preferably one that knows what to do. Lastly, be persistant, you'll be sore and not want to move and you might not see results for a while but be PERSISTANT.
I'm extremely skinny as well. I read that in order to GAIN muscle you want to eat your weight in in grams + 5 of protein each day. Sooo... If you're 140 LBS, you want to eat 145 Grams of Proteain each day to gain muscle. ^_^
swim my friend, just swim. If you swam laps 3 times a week, and ate well. You would loose weight very quickly.
Get Into recreational Sports, Buy A Bike and spend atleast ahour on it each day.. Eating Healthy is very important as well..
Do something you like or at least are willing to put up with If you hate doing whatever activity you choose you wont stay with it I play Hockey so 3 or 4 times a week plus an hour of working out, seems to do the job
that can't be right :blink: 145 grams of protein? Do you know how many grams of protein has different kinds of food? And protein milkshakes...I believe they go in 10's, not above hundred... idk maybe im wrong
go to the ----ing gym. everyday. drink your milk. walk from school. stop eating candy/icecream/fatty foods you will be in shape in a month.
Swim. You'll gain weight but it will be muscle, and try not to eat a ton after you swim no matter how hungry you get. I've been doing that for a couple weeks and lost 12 pounds.
Guys he wants to gain wait not lose it. I work out for baseball and just to stay strong go to the gym like 3 times a week and work out on a regular basis. If you want to get big eat tons of protein I eat protein a lot. Drink protein shakes it will help. For muscle mass and such go to GNC and buy creatine monohydride supplements chew one thirty minuets before you work out and thirty minutes after. Always get a good amount of sleep. Never, NEVER, EVER, listen to those people who say you have to eat more! You dont. Eat 6 small portions of food, make sure to have variation, and have a well intake on fish. Thats all you need to know about your diet. And dont forget about 5-8 glasses of water a day. You have to! Second thing u have to do is exercise daily. Most people cant make it to the gym everyday because it takes up a lot of your time, so to solve that do exercises at your house. All you need is imagination. Do pushups, do situps, do pushups while having your backpack on for extra force, keep up on the cardiac excerise if you want to be strong and fit. If you want to look rip then cut down a little on running (which is the main cardiac exercise)
