Uh.. i have a Mini-Logo Blank which has served me well for a while. If you don't like mini logos then Element is a good choice for speed and Flip if you want good pop on your ollie or anything else.

mini-logo is a good deck to get to even if you are a pro cause you brake them and it costs money and minilogo is strong.

    DECK: flip 50$
    Trucks:venture lights 20$
    Wheels: any w/ decent hardness/size 20$
    bearings:bones redz 15$
    hardware: any 1-2$

    total:$110 approx

I had an element board when i first started, thought it could stand the abuse ebcause I was light(95lbs at the time) but I have completely trashed it. There si a reason why most people who skate disrecomend element, they have no endurance. If you can afford to replace a deck once a month, element maybe very good for you, if not go something else.

i have an exact replica of Bam Magera's Element board, the pink/purple one :P... for when i go street skating.

then i got a flip one, just a plain one, the red deck with FLIP text in black... for when i go vert skating,
