Ok, I made a logo, animated and looks good. (animation needs tweeking)

How do i EXPORT this into image ready? When I exported this as a video, and opened it in image ready it says:

"Could not complete this operation. A plug-in system error has occured (error #1061250160)"

If someone can help me out with this I would appreciate it a lot.

    -------------

Just tell me how to export a file from c4d as .mov format or avi. *whatever format imageready will accept*.

And if someone knows how to fix this error.

    Thanks,

    C.Z

ImageReady uses .gif formats. That's the only format I know of in terms of animation, but I haven't used ImageReady in a while to remember what other animation formats it supports.

Having said that, I've never used C4D, but I don't assume it's all that different from LightWave. At least in LightWave you have an option to change the output file from a regular movie file to a bunch of still pictures (i.e. each frame in your animation). You can output them to a separate folder, and then compile a .gif animation in Imageready by importing the whole folder.

If that doesn't work, see if C4D has the option of encoding the animation straight into a GIF.

If that doesn't work, you're probably gonna have to download an AVI/MPG-to-GIF converter from the web. There are a crapload of freeware/shareware ones out there, so just look it up. Then all you have to do is render your animation in C4D, convert your avi/mpg to a GIF, and then open it in ImageReady.
