ok i am running for treasuror and this is my speech so far-

1st Off, I would like to thank all my fellow students for electing me as a nominee for your 8th grade treasurer. This is a serious job and I think I have what it takes to become treasurer. I will not fool around, lose, or spend your money. I will take great care of it.

2nd, I would like to say a few things. Some people think I am not quilifed for this job because I am not in advanceded math. However this job requires adding and subtracting.

Some people want me to change prices at the snack bar. I have already spoken with the lunch ladies and they say they have no control over the prices because the company gives them the prices to sell the items for.

-I am not done but i am open to more suggestions and ideas for this speech.. anyone?

    no flaames, sarcasim, ect

First off, why the ---- are you getting ready for a speech that you have to read tomorow... The day before? Honestly, you're running for "treasurer" and you get your speech ready the day before you have to read it... Wow..

Anyways, just add a bunch of bull---- about how you will do the best job as you can and how you'll be 100% deticated to your job at all times.. It always works.

Dont mention your weaknesses, stay away from that because then there like wow this guy sucks dont vote for him

Also talk to the company that supplies the snack bar, ask them if they would lower the price

    Good Luck,

He's running for treasurer or whatever in his probably elementary school.. Not for president, you dumb----.

What do you think a bunch of 8th graders want to hear? A bunch of words they don't understand? I'd rather make a few jokes and sound like a nice friendly guy rather than spit out a few big ass words and make the students feel as if I'm trying to make them look stupid.

Anyways, you don't have to listen to me.. It's just my 44 cents.

Nice intro, though "electing me as a nominee" probably sounds redundant. If I were you I'd just say "...thank all my fellow students that nominated me for the treasurer position." ...or something like that.

Uh, change this completely. It's already understood that you shouldn't fool around with, lose, or spend the money. Say that you'll put the money to good use in whatever school activities you got going, or that you have plans to increase the money they all have or whatever. If they nominated you, chances are they already assume you won't lose or spend their money.

So, first you say that this is a serious job, and now you're saying that any idiot with basic addition and subtraction skills could do it? Think of something different to say.

So you're saying that you're not gonna do anything? Bad start. You should tell 'em that you plan on talking to the school board, or going to the company that supplies your snacks and talking to them, to see about changing the prices of the snacks. Moreover, don't just say that you will do it...actually do it.

Since it's a speech, spelling is inconsequential.

Wow a little on the overdrive ehhhh slurpee? I don't think that the point of his speech is to make jokes. The object is in fact to make the runner ups look as incredibly stupid as possible. That way he looks smarter than the others. Which I hope can bring you to your own conclusions.

Hope this isnt considered advertising but lol find something in here ;)

Keep in mind that it is cheating though!
