Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to set the permissions for forums like the staff apps section of GR (You can't see your or others topics after youve posted) . I'm running on 2.0.4 and was needing to know if anyone knew how to set these permissions... thanks in advance =D
Why not just tell him how. Instead of trying to get his administrative pass so you can scam him out of his board.

I could do the same thing. I can't really EXPLAIN how to do it. But I can do it for you. I have my own site with IPB 1.3. Not much different than 2.0.4. Although my site is down right now <_< . Most people on this site are trustworthy people. I have trusted about 3-4 people with even my Cpanel Login info. And nothing has happened to my site by their fault. Only my hosts .

And i've said twice now i misunderstood and can't help him, so this is kind of pointless. I would never tamper with someones site anyway, thats just wrong.
Well, I tried my best. That is VERY difficult to figure out. I did everything I could think of too....
When you create a forum, there will be a table where you can select who can view/post/whatnot on the forum. You know, with the admin, member, banned, validating on the left. Select admin only for an admin only board.
Did you not read?? Everyone knows how to do that. He means, when a post is made, only admin cans view it.
It's probably a mod Jon has on here. Like admin view topic or something, I don't check the mod forums enough so I dunno.
