hi guys im going to show you how to make scanlines on your sig so it looks like you t/v :D

first of all make a new document 1x2 it dosent have to have a title so just call it 'untilted' ;) like this:

you might see that there is a tiny little standing up rectangle on the new document
next of all you have to zoom in by pressing ctrl and the ' + ' button, zoom in as close as you can. so then it looks like this:

next grab the smallest brush you can find, then hold shift and make the document half black and half white like this :

then go to edit > define pattern...
    and name it 'scanlines' B)

go and open your sig that you want to put the scanlines in. ( i used a killzone pic because i cant be assed to make a new sig :P ) and make a new layer.

once you have made a new layer go to :

    edit > fill...

and put these settings in :

you can set the opacity between 5-15 over that it just might look like something coming out from your......anywho you will get something like this :

mess about with the size's eg 1x2,2x4 or even 3x6 and mess about and make some new patterns like my sig :)

sorry about the fuzzyness of the printscreen :D

any questions please reply here :D

    enjoy

oh i forgot.. its better if you just have a transparent background instead of white.. because the scanlines will work for anything that way and you wont have to lower the opacity as much

    Good but INCREDIBLY common.

as for making it diagonal check the other scanline tut or take my crudy text image...

    0XX
    X0X
    XX0

replace the 0's with the color and follow his directions exactly save for changing the one image somewhat...

and mess around if you want...

    XXO
    XOX
    OXX

    that also works
