    for some reason I did get an auto bg, like baby blue kinds color

    try using a transparent .png. BAM PROBLEM SOLVED. PNGs are better than .jpgs and .gifs for image quality preservation, and I think everyone here has a good connection so we won't care about an extra 1/20 of a second page load.

    if ur using internet explorer u will always have a baby blue / grey bg but in firefox its transparent :)

    i know, IE sucks bad IMO, i still use it though.

    Ya I dont feel like going and d/l firefox but 1 question with it can u have firefox and IE and use them both??

    Well, both IE and Firefox work with GIF transparency. However as I've found when designing sites is that a Javascript fix is needed for IE to display the transparency on transparent PNG's.
