what's so special about a .psd? I know it's a photoshop format, but why are they so special? (Since they cost more to buy/sell rather than a regular sig.) :huh:
.PSD'd are still in layers when you open them in photoshop, allowing you to edit every aspect of the file. you cant do that with other image files. When you save a file as a .PSD, it stays the same, all the layers, blending options, everything. you can just change them all.
The purpose of selling a PSD is for others to learn new techniques. I have bought one PSD and it didn't really teach me anything. I don't personally sell PSD's. I don't want people learning how to do my manips. But that is the reason (people learning new things), for the most part.
