I'll get right to the point. Yesterday when I was photoshopping a new sig I was brushing and then when I tried to brush somemore it said "Scratch Disks are full." I made a new layer and I kept on brushing. Worked fine. Today thought when I tried to open Photoshop I couldn't even do that. Before I had the chance to do anything it said "could not open Photoshop because scratch disks are full." What does this mean? What can I do to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Wow never read of that before sucks to be you have you tried google the all knowing god? Edit here you go found it on google. Solution
Yeah I saw that too. But that's for opening images. I can't even open Photoshop so I can't get to the options. I think what I'll try and do is find the directory for the scratch disk wherever the hell it is. Or I might just clean up my C drive. Thanks for the comment.
all it means is that your computer memory is getting full and there is not enough space for what your doing. just go in and delete your documents folder or something. empty ur comp
Delete your temporary files if you haven't already and remove any other files and programs you don't need. Do a disk cleanup or defragment.
you might also want to considering buying another hardrive, even just a cheap small one. Running two HDs offer advantages as well, like faster pagefiling, no need to worry about such probalems unless you fiill another HD and an easy way to back things up.
Wow thanks for all the comments. I do have two hardrives but all the temporary stuff is on C. I think I should definitly clean it up a bit considering it only has about 215 megs left on it. Thanks for all the help.
