More Ipb Help...

I'm just missing something here I guess, but how do I change the croup Icon for certain groups, I link to it, put tags around it, but it just says "group icon"....

I may not be doing it right, i guess. i want something to the effect of the admin/mod images used here on GR.

You have FTP access? Looking at that link, i say upload it in your html folder, make a team_icons folder if necessary. The when you eidt the member group reffer to it as 'name'.gif. That should work.

 

I have cpanel...hmm, sould I just upload it in the styles_images folder of my forum folder?

 

b0b's hosting? If you have cpanel, you have ftp as well. Log in (get a client like smartftp- http://smartftp.com) and in the directory 'forum' find html and make a team icons folder. Style images is mainly for skin images, so it might not work there..

 

You're right...and I have smart ftp...I'll try to work it..

 

there is a folder for team icons under style_images and the skin you are using. Place the icons in there and in adminCP edit the group and put in the link for the icon in that groups profile.
