well that's usually the problem diablodj.

any unfamiliar hand positions are going to be uncomfortable at first, and on a qwerty keyboard you really gotta learn to do it the proper way to become fast.

... Your teacher should of tought you but here's some tips. See the lines under f and j that's where your fingers should be placed ( 2 index fingers) it will allow all your fingers reach to all the keys you will most likely use, f1-f12 will probably have to be clicked by leaving the keyboard, same with the number pad. Just type a lot on forums and maker sure you always stare at the monitor, try not to look at the keyboard, I personally taught myself by gradually typing a lot more, quicker and with grammar, hope that helps :) :D <3!

I used a typeing program at the start of my computer life :)
But I found that it barely helped at all, now I just know where they keys, its that simple, one problem with that way, when you go to a new or diffrent keyboard its a lot harder to type, especialy on a laptop since they keys are smaller and some are diffrent locations.

That's not good....If i can type 115 words per minute and I'm nearly 14 then I must either be really good or just good.
