How can i capture images from a video? Ive tried using the screenshot but whenever i paste it into paint or photoshop its either a blank screen or the video itself playing in the picture. Any idea on what program i can use?

    go to window media player

    do this

    CTRL + I

it say to save it in a folder

If dosnt work try this one

TOOLS > OPTIONS > PERFORMANCE > then in the bottom panel entitled 'Video Acceleration' drag the indicator to the far left so it is under 'None' > APPLY

Click PrintScreen botton and go to paint and paste ......

this will now allow u to take ur screenshots and save them properly .. but the drawback is that since the accelaration is turned off, u wont be able to skim through the episode to find ur desired scene and instead will have to watch the entire episode until u reach ur scene before u can take that screenshot

    Hope it help ;)

heres what u do (you do this in WINDOWS, you dont do it in windows media player obviously)

right clikc ur desktop, and press PROPERTIES. Then click the SETTINGS tab, and click the ADVANCED button. A new window will open up, so now click on the TROUBLESHOOT tab. Where it says "hardware acceleration" pull the slider all the way down to NONE.

Now you will be able to take a screen shot of ur video...but remember to put hardware acceleration back on once ur done.
