    Okay, I live at:

and I'm fed up with these sticking high Internet prices.

Currently, until April '06, I have SBC Yahoo DSL, slow as hell. I only got downloads to move at 30kb/s max. And they say I'd get ~315 kb/s.... I'm paying 29.95/month for a 12 month contract. then it goes up to $39 or something like that. Too expensive for me and my parents.

I tried all the big ones, Comcast, Verizon, and many others, all saying it is not avaible in my area. I even plugged in SBC and says its not available.... yet it was, just not for that price of 19.95 at the time...

So about the only way I can get internet faster than my current DSL is if I go Wireless. I've looked at CyberLynk, NetWurx, and Alexssa, they all are wireless, make you buy a $300 modem/attenae, pay only 24.95/month, and a $100 setup if you need them to install it for you.

If you know any other Wireless or can find me any other fast internet connections for under $25/month, and no plans for only 3-12 months, straight forward pricing, let me know, and drop in a link...

I can't get anything but Earthlink here, and it's too expensive. Waiting on Verizon to show up in my area.. Til then stuck with 56k.

comcast owns, but their cable service costs close to 60$ a month after modem rental. Blazing fast though, I get 15mb/s on a good day. Probably ONLY 7-8 on a typical day though(still more than I ever use.)

as for master, try a satelite ISP, earthlink as was mentioned.

    EDIT: google owns all

Edit: i put in your info and there were 2 results one for 44.95 a month and one for 49.99 a month sorry couldn't find any cheaper :(

well would you really need 15 mbs anyway..sure it'd help but 5 is already good enough..

btw, its only got a 2mb upload idk if you get more than that

Ok heres a list of some..idk how accurate it is but check out the main sites for more info bout them..

netzero is bad, we once had the Netzero speed-up thing, and it was slower then hell....

I'm not going back to Dial-up...

I need cable or a higher dsl that can download more than 20kb/s...

I will now raise in to lower than $29.95, with no shyt like 6 months at this price...

edit?: Thanks, Diablo, but except for Roadrunner, none of them work.. all say are not avauilable...

thanks, soari. I am signed up with SBC Yahoo, though I could not get the 19.95 plan for some sticky reason, so I had to get the 29.95 plan until April '06 or I pay a $200 fine for early termination. It's ok, I can surf faster then dial-up, but it's still slow... same as downloads. I can get a max of 30kb/s down, but that's slow compared to cable or above...

I want to get into PC and Console online gaming, and the slow DSL isn't gonna cut it... Once I get a faster computer, that is..
