Need Help With .zip .rar Things Help

    everytime i download a .zip thing it comes up as if it is a .rar. thing

    can anyone help me???

    yea u need a special program to unzip those winrar is one i think theres others not sure check download.com

    Ditch winzip, use winrar.

    yea i downloaded winrar but everytime i download a ZIP file it comes up as a RAR file

    Then just extract it with winrar

    ok it comes up in a WINRAR file thing

    how do i switch it so i i can few all the pics in it?

    dont worry its still a .zip lollers, winrar just default opens it, just extract it like u would normally, or double click on the files in winrar

    i coulda swore u made another topic like this and i already posted in it :\

    Once you download the rar file, double click the rar file icon to open it in WinRar, select all the files, click "Extract to" enter a destination and press "ok"

    Glad i could help. It can be confusing when you first use it, but it really is quite easy. And a lot of people save stuff as .rar now, so it comes in handy

    Latest version of WINRAR would solve all your problems in unraring or unzipping.

    If you right click and do extract here it should make a new folder with all the stuff in it.
