Heh, and what would you suggest?

Please keep it compatible with the rest of the things I have going there. :D

and as far as the cords for the drives, dvd burners and such. These ones that come with the mobo, right? They just look somewhat different than the AT cords my friend used a while back when building his machine.

I want to keep it at least 500 for when I add another HDD and/or CD/DVD combo drive.

Why, how much do think I would need?

I've decided to get the Silver version of the same case with the PSU already installed. Matches the monitor a little better, and the silver is teh secks. :D Oh, and I save about $20.

May look into a better vid card or more ram. Prolly the RAM.

Oh crap... will a 12.0" x 9.6" mobo fit in this case. The case says Main Board Size: Fits up to 11" x 12"?

Is that an issue? If so, any recommendations on a mobo that will be compatible with the other stuff?

4nub1s I still highly recommend you get an Epower Puma II - http://forums.amd.com/index.php?showtopic=57076 see that I asked the guys at amd and they said its a much better choice.

Azianhawk said the reason spot on with the PSU you picked its only 12V rail 16A but the epower puma II is 12V rail 32A.

Well, I'll see how the psu that comes with the case works out. If it gives me any problems, I'll definitely look into that one.

I also decided to get a real mouse and keyboard, as well as a slightly bigger monitor.

All clickable for product details. ;)

Somehow, I ended up saving about $5 with these changes. glad a buddy of mine stopped by and complained about the $17 monitor and mouse. He recommended a 20" so I could get 1600X1200. But, it was like another $200. :lmao:

That's only one of them though. The other is a 160 internal, and I already have a 160 external. So, overall... I'll have 400 GB total. Not too bad if I do say so myself. Besides, going the SATA route... I have room for two more if I choose. ;)

you should be wary of your system as it shouldnt in theory be running smooth. Owell but if you ever try to run sli your computer will crash and burn.
