doesn't look too bad for a first render. just take some more time to do the hair.

The jpeg isn't necessary, cause no-one uses jpeg, just post png or gif if you like.

okiez

but it seems choppy 'round the hair in png

That's the side-effect of the color of this forum... If you manage to create a nice render, it will look good on the forum, but if you got too "hasty" it will look choppy. So my advise is this:
- Try pictures without hair first (cause hair is the most difficult thing to render, alongside fire)
- Take your time, i don't know how long it took you with this one, but my renders allways take 2 hours minimum (at least the warcraft-renders do)

an ok render but with a little blending for a sig it should be fine ^_^

WOW
THAT BELONGS IN PREM.!
