Hi my Pc is pretty feked ever time i start it up it does memory dums and crashes quite alot, so i was thinking of building a new comp. say i had arround $900 to spend could anyone suggest some goos motherboards, Processors etc.. thanks alot
a Asus P5WD2 Premium+Skt 775+Intel 955X Chipset+PCI-E Motherboard, a geforece 7 series graphic card and a AMD Athlon64 3200+ proccessor and well the rest dont matter actually a 512 or 1024 ram thats the goods stuff
there is posts like this all over do a search, ^ what he said sounds fine. id suggest just takin an hour or two and find the parts on your own since we have noidea what you use your comp for, plus its fun yayyy.
With the help of a few others around here, I'm building this system in a couple days when parts arrive. http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117967 It would be less than $900 if you kept your monitor, mouse, and keyboard.
open your directx and see what your pc features are if you low on ram like u got 256 or got a graphic card with less then 128mb or got less then 2gigahertz speed then u can just buy specific parts saving u money
Heres some sites. www.ibuypower.com www.buyxg.com www.cyberpowersystem.com www.outpost.com - buying mine from here. www.newegg.com to lazy to tell you parts. but with 900 you can get a REALLY nice system. basically @ buyxg the XG XION 7000 is really nice
when i think about it i only really need a new processor and motherboard and a new case any one know of any good cases how much do u think that would set me back ? also a flat scerrn would be nice but they cost a bit
well then u dont need to buy any more ram or get a new graphic card cause a geforce 5800 is a really good one, how fast is your pc like the Gigahertz
Your comp should be fine, you dont need to upgrade. I suggest you reformat your pc as that should get your pc running new again.
I suggest checking out maximumpc.com and their forums. They have all kinda of pre-built systems for any price range.
Your compuiter isnt too bad. You can just reformat ur harddrive for a fresh start. If you need to get a new HD. but ur ram and gfx card seems fine..beats mine at least.
hey bro, if you do any shopping online, do it at newegg.com!!! i of course would go with a pentium processor(dual hyper threading), i would get to sticks(atleast) of 512 and make sure you get plenty of fans and a heat sink too
