oh dear god. dont tell me that your plans were to show them how to use brushes and all that ----. do u understand how insignificant sigs and brushes are?
Alright, heres what I would do. I'd teach them to make something simple but good looking. Then at the end of that day I'd ask them all there favourite game/movie characters and bring some renders in the next day of them. I'd put the CD's in and give each one the render they wanted then once everyone has their render I would teach them to make a decent signature. Then I'd ask them what they wanted and stuff.
Dont let them make sigs dont do it... I mean yeah sure sigs are fun and all but in the real world there no good Why dont u guys do webtemplates start of with the real easy ones and gradualy work in the more harder ones at least thell learn somethin usefull
Well arent the techniques for sigging similar to that of the wallpaper but only on a smaller scale?
Nope,....Wallpapers with brushing dont look good.... And try to get someone of GR to teach you things (MT, Anyone?)
ok lets see, we will only do small amount of sigs...just for fun and to get ppl started.....now posters are easy to deal with for now....we just need to promote our club(the club havent started yet....website template we will definally do...but none of us did one be4...I no is pretty sad... and we dont have a web desgin course in our school And also.....SO how do u make a wallpaper with no brushes?? anymore ideas will be nice....more details too needed
if this was me i would start out simple and just do sigs for a bit to get people started and then work your way up to logos and wallpapers then finally templates, stuff that is actually useful. As for the poster, my school has bulliten boards around people can put stuff on just make it very simple and easy to read and maybe people that are already into graphics will go. Maybe if you have somethign simiilar to a bulliten board then you can use it to attract people
you are out of ur mind. sigs arn't by any circumstances, something you teach in a class.
first is not a class, is a club.....second I said we only will do small amount to get ppl interested....we wont do it as the main thing we do in the club......More suggestions plz.
ah..a club... ok nvm. as long as ur not like teaching it to ppl who seriously want to learn how to truely design things liek Temps or stuff liek that
Dark, it may be fun for you to teach them sigs and all, it'll be fun for them too.. I'm sure, but don't. Teach them the useful ----, gradients, pen tool, shapes tool, all the filters... etc. It will help them more, and I'm 100% sure that if they where better at GFX they'd have fun then randomly brushing and placing renders on a small canvas over and over again.
